Greenbriar Dolphin Swim Team

All of our 12 & under age groups are at capacity.  We have limited availability for swimmers aged 13-18.  Email [email protected] if you are interested in registering your 13-18 swimmer.

The Greenbriar Dolphins Swim Team is based at the Greenbriar Pool Club in Fairfax, Virginia. We compete in Division 10 (2025 season) of the Northern Virginia Swimming League (NVSL) and in the Western Fairfax Developmental League (WFDL). The Greenbriar Dolphins Swim Team has been competing in the NVSL since 1973.

7/19: Divisionals @ Mansion House (Start with freestyle)

Greenbriar Swim Team membership is open to anyone who meets the following criteria:

1. Current member of the Greenbriar Pool Club (owner or renter)
2. 18 and under (as of June 1st of the current year)
3. Able to swim one length (25m) of the pool unassisted
4. Be Swim Safe Certified* by a date determined by the Head Coach and Team Reps

Practice Policy:

Swimmers who meet the above criteria may register and participate in AFTERNOON practices and Time Trials. Swim team members are required to be Swim Safe Certified* in order to participate in MORNING practices and swim meets.

*Swim Safe Certified refers to passing the Swim Safe Test administered by pool lifeguards.  Refer to the pool's rules page for more information.
